Lowering the bar

So now the BAR exam is eliminated in the state of Washington. For the sake of "diversity", of course. While I never thought state examination guarantees lawyer's proficiency, this is really cool. Now so called "minorities" get to college with a minimal proficiency and then are not even tested for proficiency after they graduate. Medical licenses are next, for sure.
So WA is "lowering the bar". The standards can be of course ensured without the state involved, but every such private measure would be shut down as racist, no doubt.
