This is going to drive me nuts until someone helps me. Does anyone remember a late 80s/early 90s horror movie where a girl gets killed by the escalator in a mall? Said movie also featured a teenage girl, her father and his girlfriend who was some sort of really sexy demon/witch/etc. I think the evil stepmother might have been foreign.
The scenes I really remember were in the classroom watching a film where blood drips over the projector and when the girl gets her necklace caught in the escalator, which kills her. Also a scene where the teenage girl's boyfriend-wannabe tries to break into the witch's hotel room with a credit card, and she seduces and kills him.
