[City!Dead might not have made much sense in Lily's mind but being a ghost does entirely. She's been turned into a Hogwarts style ghost and she's running about haunting people all over the City. Her primary focus is the library, where she's liable to be helpful or down right bossy

Well this is lovely. I haven't had a chance to visit yet.

Wait.]
Lily?

Didn't actually mean to startle you. It seems the City had taken a more familiar take on my death.

Well, at least you know it'll be over soon enough. I mean, it ought to be. Sometimes curses run a little longer than most, but... I mean, er-how are you?

Yes. That's what I'm counting on. Right now, it's amusing. If it were permanent I might feel differently. How are you doing? It seems things have changed a great deal for you in the City in the last few weeks.

I'm well enough. Things are... well, yeah-different, but I shouldn't say that. The cabin was this crowded when I arrived the first time, you know, so it feels a lot more like it should. I can imagine how challenging this place would be without people from home. Even if you are all new faces to me, at least you understand the world I lived in. I'm glad for both our sakes that there are so many here now. I hope that doesn't change.

I hope so too. We can't control much of what the City does-obviously-including leaving, but... Well, we can always hope. It's brilliant to have family and friends back, even if it does mean more people are getting stuck here. It's selfish, I suppose, but I can't help but be glad about it.

For some of us, it's better than what we've got at home so that makes you practically saintly in my opinion for wishing some of us here.

If I remember correctly, George'll be sore at losing his saint title to me. Best leave it at that. [She raises her brows at Lily.] I've always said this place is a bit like an unplanned holiday, though. Better than home in some ways-I reckon it's the people that really make it what it is.

I suspect you're right which makes me all the more understanding that you'd wish people here.
