the Wit

CLEAN | COMPLEX | DARK
You like things edgy, subtle, and smart. I guess that means you're
probably an intellectual, but don't take that to mean you're
pretentious. You realize 'dumb' can be witty--after all isn't that the
Simpsons' philosophy?--but rudeness for its own sake, 'gross-out' humor
and most other things found in a fraternity leave you totally flat.
I guess you just have a more cerebral approach than most. You have the
perfect mindset for a joke writer or staff writer. Your sense of humor
takes the most effort to appreciate, but it's also the best, in my
opinion.

Ok Cupid It's 2 p.m. on Monday. I'm having a hard time convincing myself of that, because the last twenty-three hours have rocked. At three yesterday, I joined a bunch of people - the numbers of which grew over time - for a Zombiefest. We watched Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and Day of the Dead - all the originals, thanks - one after another, and followed it with The Wall, which is a movie that I think would be greatly improved if the people seeing it were under the influence of... something... Somewhere in there I picked up Jasmin and we went to feed Lydia's cats. Cat, actually - a big Maine Coon cat named Osiris - one of the docile ones who just sits contentedly on your shoulders and contentedly digs his front claws into your shoulder. (Which didn't happen to me, but did happen to Nate.)
After that, we retired to James's house, where we say Down Periscope for a pure lack of things to watch and Matchstick Men because it's an awesome and amazing movie. See it if you catch it.
We cut it to IHOP at about 5 in the morning and conceived of a plan to go swimming at the beach. We arrived, realized we all needed bathing suits, and went to get them. Then we arrived again and swam in the lake at 7:30 in the morning. (The lake doesn't open for swimming until 10:30. We were there illegally. The Coast Guard yelled at us.) We, by now, is pretty solidly Jasmin, Ariel, Irenka, James, Desmond, Jonny, Cifani, and me.
I needed that lake swim. It was good for me. It was good fun.
I LOVE LIVING NEXT TO A LAKE!
Also, I have determined that, during the week before school, I am abducting four people from school and bringing them down here. And we will go swimming in the lake at nighttime. It will be good. I do not know which four people. But it will be very fun.
After the swimming, the resting on the beach, and the more swimming, we went back to Jasmin's to watch Time Bandits, which was... patchy. I fell asleep during most of it, probably due to my horizontal position. Interestingly, earwitness accounts say I didn't snore. *shrug* That's... unusual, I guess.
And here I am now. I'm going to take a shower and go to sleep, I think. If not, I'll... bum around until I sleep, or something.
