Life-long Tolkien Fan Messes Pants in Movie Theater:
I saw the Two Towers last night. The experience still hasn't completely sunk in yet, but for now I can say, "Oh...my...God".
As far as an adaptation of Tolkien's written work, it is sad to see so much cast aside for the masses of moviegoers who are perhaps unfamilliar with the novel. The overall story stays intact as Peter Jackson does a phenominal job of switching the sub-plots around for the big screen. The action is intense, and the drama wrenches your heart. I couls spend all day reviewing and praising this film, but perhaps I should save those words for another time. Until then I will go to sleep and dream sweet Hobbit dreams. I am a very happy boy.
