4 months. Its been just short of 4 months since I left the forms I /need/ with my brother & mother.
"They are completely filled out. I just need any medical professional to sign. The deadline is the end of March, ok?"
I drove the 3 hours back to my place. Every week I call & every week I remind.
They have a home visit nurse. Doctor visits. Mom even went back into the rehab center in May.
"Are you coming to visit?"
"I just need that signature..."
They paid for a nurse to stay at home with Mom for a week. Still no signature.
"Are you coming to visit?"
Last Saturday HER want to see me finally got strong enough that she made my brother find the forms (where I left them).
"Oh. The very last deadline on these forms was last Wednesday? You'll have to start the forms over again."
Nope! No. I won't.
I didnt rage-scream myself red in the face at you in a desperate attempt to make you LISTEN. This time I asked. Cuz you always force me to rage-scream and then rock back on your heels "OMG she's uHinGEd! Always has been. Only had to ask."
So I asked. You didn't listen.
You couldn't prioritize ME for even 5 minutes, for 4 months. You still think you can demand I give up weekends to go visit YOU?
The whole family ignored my request for your 5 minute effort because you didnt think I justified it to your standards.
No, I don't know how you are going to fix this mess with the forms, the signatures and my insurance. Good luck!
