Today it didn't rain

This is only news because the weather service claimed it was about to rain ponies and burros at 1:45 this afternoon. "Precipitation rates as high as two inches per hour are possible and likely" was the wording they used. We then watched the ominous orange squall line approaching on the radar screens. Well, it didn't actually rain ponies and burros here, but I hear a few whales fell on Chicago again. Two days running they've had flood warnings.

Yes, hoof condition can be a significant indicator of any equine's overall health. The old saying is "No hoof, no horse."

I'm glad we escaped that. I can handle burros but by most accounts I've heard, a zorse is quite a handful.
