Chornicles of the lonely traveller(s) - Day 11
Before the start of day 11, i've to say this. WORK SUCKS.... Especially when the harddisk crash and you have to REDO EVERYTHING....
ahem.... onto the main topic.
Of SQENIX and fireworks
So that day the lonely travellers decide to chance Sqenix again. But they left the hotel early so they decided to wander about ueno and they found...
A street of bike shops.
with a lot of biker clothes, helmets and other stuff but NO yamaha t-shirts
Anyway, after that the lonely travellers made their way to Hatsudai and they realised there was a small performance going on.
Nothing much.. just kids performing a folk dance of sorts.
This was the place where the lonely travellers posted their post cards two years back.
And it wasn't long that the lonely travellers found the LANDMARK.
And once the landmark is found, the rest is easy. And this time no angsting tourist outside the shop!
And inside...
showcases with all Final fantasy and Sqenix goodies... some stuff went up as high as 36,000 yen or so.
And of course the main attraction of this place is...

After shopping, (this lonely traveller just got a Knight of the round) while the other lonely traveller did most of the spending here.
Onto the train again as the lonely travellers head towards the Jump Shop near Tokyo Dome.
Apparently Tokyo's canels isn't too bad.
Outside the station. (This lonely traveller has forgotten the station's name)
The door is shaped like a jump manga.
And Jump was this lonely traveller's kind of place. Thanks to ONe piece's anniversary, this lonely traveller had trouble deciding what to buy.
Some one piece goods.
nearby there was this rollar coaster ride that this lonely traveller thinks isnt for the faint of heart.
The weather was hot and just standing near to the seats the lonely traveller can feel teh heat that's coming off it.
The course of the rollar coast is very innovation. at least to this lonely traveller. the course runs through the side of a building..
Up and up the train goes.
Due to the lonely travellers uncanny timing. There was a Johnny's concert going on that day and there was a looooooooonnnnnnnnnnggggg queue for concert goods. A far cry from L'arc's
This is the Tokyo Dome.
And then because there was still time to spare, the lonely travellers trooped down to Akiba AGAIN. and got their DS Lites.
So the lonely travellers went over to watch teh fireworks after spending so much yen.... Outside the train station (forgot where again) There were so many many many people. Even from a few station away you keep seeing people getting on the train. So there is no getting lost this time. Once outside teh train station herd instinct took over.
Then it is fireworks time.
You can imagine how long it took for this lonely traveller to sift through the tons of photos that she had taken.... anyway after that the lonely travellers headed back before the end of the fireworks.
