Of concert amd sapporo
So effectively, the lonely travellers are on their last day at Hokkaido. And today was the day of the concert. For once, the lonely travellers had a leisurely breakfast, waking up as late as they could (but somehow this lonely traveller jumps awake at around 6.30 am, 7.30 am and 8.30am and she was so disgusted that it was so early that she just decide to stpo nuaing on the bed)
So first stop was to Animate which they couldn't go the day before cause walking from the station to Animate took 30 mins. they arrived in time for the sales person to tell them that it was closed.
Odori Park again.
RA
Pigeons.
And horny ones.
And huge crows.
the pathway leading to animate.
Animate amid Marui(s)
After Animate was to locate the location of the concert....
And so the lonely travellers walked and walked and walked and walked and sweat and sweat and sweat and sweat and still they are nowhere near. It wasn't till the other lonely traveller decided that she had enough and went into a combi store to ask for directions. As she was asking, this lonely traveller spotted a map drawn on a sheet of vanguard. the location of the concert hall was clearly pointed out on the map...
So....
the lonely travellers found the place.
the concert truck.
And the lonely travellers took pictures of the truck of course.
It was only about 12 or so and people are hanging around the venue already...
the relief of finding the place and resting their legs. Since they had found the venue that proceed to their next stop to explore the shopping street near animate. It was then the lonely travelelrs timed the amount of time it took them to walk. They discovered that from their hotel to animate was 30 mins and from their hotel to the concert venue was 45 mins. and to think it looked soooooooooooo near on the map....
At the shopping street, the travellers found.
EXTREMELY SMALL
SOOOOOO CUTE
Just in case you don't know how small, its that small. Of course the lonely travellers went in and looked at all the animals. This one didn't sell any exotic animals but still the lonely travellers don't understand how the japanese could keep their pet shops odor-free....
After exploring the shopping street. the lonely travellers went back to the hotel to unload and open their letter.
Drum roll please.
The moment of truth.
That's the piece of paper that cost the lonely travellers almost $1000
For comparison. The ticket is small.....
So they ate dinner at MOS burger which was different from Singapore's. the menu was rather different and logo was green instead of red. So this lonely traveller ordered curry burger which was all right. While waiting, the lonely travellers actually started to feel sleepy. but they managed to finish their food. then they went to the concert venue. this time there was no problems. firstly there were a lot of strangly dressed people. Mothers and daughters go together to watch a rock concert...... this is SO amazing. it is like going with your mother to watch Linkin' Park or something like that.
So the lonely tarvellers join the longest queue they had seen so far to just get into the venue. then, to buy concert goods. and then finally they were seated. as they waited. This lonely traveller got sleepy again. She closed her eyes as they waited and all of a sudden she hear screams.... wondering why she opened her eyes and found the whole place black and everyone was standing and so this lonely traveller stood up and realised that the concert had started. hahahaha....
the group looked smaller than the lonely travellers' pinky but the concert was okay. the atmosphere was good. You can observe how the other fans behaved. When it is a familar song, they swing their hands around, they sing, they danced on the spot, they do a lot of things to make sure you can't see. On the hand if it is a new song, everyone just look lost and stand still...... hahahaha what a difference.
It was a long day and after about 2+ hours the concert was over. the people evacuated and the lonely travellers made theri way back to the hotel to pack.
Stock take for day 8. the larc concert t-shirt. some second hand dvds and cds
a picture on the wall that this lonely traveller hadn't noticed till their last night in the room. hahaha
