Game # 3 W 2 - 1
Now this was a great game. Beckett looked sharp, Timlin had some rust, Papelbon came as advertised.
It is great winning games by 1 run, shows your team isnt all about offense and that pitching and defense CAN wih championships.
It was starting to wear on me by the 100th groundball hit but in the end, the W is all that matters. Manny set the table (or wasnt pitched to) and Trot did a belly slide across it.
Onto Baltimore....be sure to watch for the Kevin Millar revenge game!
