I could tell from the first few pitches it was going to be a long, long night.
Remember when I said I had fears about the offense not being quite there? Well....
I never worry about Manny, but he rarely strikes out 3 times in a game, everything they hit is weak! I am sure it will be fine, the team looks solid. Just gotta shake off the rust
And if you are harping on Bard, dont forget Mirabelli had some passed balls in his first in-game attempt to catch wakefield.
They got me hoping again when they put together that little rally with 2 outs. I kept doing the math in my head about how they could come back in a reasonable manner.
