Chinese New Year Blues
Sup pple. Been a while!
So far everything's good in London. Caught the Tottenham vs Reading FA Cup 3rd Rd. Atmosphere was fantastic. Lots of cursing and swearing... esp when Hunt scored the equalizer for Reading. Was in the Spurs seats and all the Spurs fans were calling Hunt a WANKER WANKER WANKER!!! haha.
Wanted to catch the Tottenham vs Arsenal game but tickets are already sold out =(
Went to the Victoria and Albert museum today. Totally breathtaking. Words can't describe the feeling of just being here in London to exp the air, arts and music. Will show ya'll the pictures once I'm back.
Jo, I think we should have been born here instead of SG man. Anyway I got some flyers of some underground acts for you. Also bought some underground short films ala Restfest kinda films from Bricklane, a really dodgy vibe inda place with lotsa graffiti around. Will arrange a short films session at ma place folks! haha
Most CDs here are cheaper than Singapore I dun know how I'm gonna ship them back man. Also bought a retro camera for only 5 pounds. Shiok man. Gonna redo my room when I get back and covert it into an art museum.
Anyways, I'm starting to miss home already esp my bed, parents, chilling with Gab @ the Parkway wine shop, playing for 11am, asking Tic Tac Toe Queen when she gonna have dinner with me, badminton with Jon, Eunice and Christine. calling bak geh bak geh. sting ray dinners. playing for Eagles, Vanessa's crib etc etc
Also beginning to feel the Chinese New Year Blues man.
had Peking duck and Fried rice / Noodles with ma colleagues earlier in Chinatown and we were talking about Chinese New Year. It really sucks to be missing Chinese New Year esp the reunion dinner and of course collecting ang pows. Feeling the blues man.
