Hello from London

Yo People,

In a blink of an eye, its been almost a week in London.
I'm staying at a service apartment in Canary Wharf which is like the financial district on the outskirts of London. The buildings here are far much nicer than Singapore. The interior is even better. Imagine office toilets furnished with wooden interiors / doors etc etc. There's even a Deli and restaurant inside my office.

The weather here is really cold, 2 to 3 degrees every morning, which gives me the excuse to drink even more. haha. To date, I've downed 1/2 bottle of whisky, finished almost 20 pints of alcohol.

The working culture here is absolutely awesome. People here, work hard between 9 to 6 and then its off to the pubs where they drink real hard. Thursdays are the official drinking nights where everyone gets really smashed. Its a wonder how I actually made it to work the next day.

Watched the England vs Croatia game with 2 of my colleagues, 1 English and 1 Irish bloke who's got a really cool accent. This Irish dude's actually from Belfast. How cool is that man. The Indian chicks here are really cute too, unlike the ones from India. haha.

There's just too many things to buy here, especially clothes and I'm pretty sure my bags will be overweight when I get back. So I can't really help you with your shopping list Jo... haha

Its kinda bittersweet for me here, kinda miss home and friends but London is really the kinda place I've always wanted to work in. I'm really thankful that my service apartment is really great. one bedroom, one living room and one kitchen, one bathroom. Like a swinging bachelor's pad. haha. Will show you guys more pics when I get back.

Will be catching a Premiership game too man. Thats gonna be exciting. My colleague's gonna score me tics to a Tottenham or Chelsea game. haha Pity it ain't Everton.

Gonna check out Greenwich and Camdon Town tom. Its gonna be shopping and drinking galore again haha.

Thats all for now. Dawn, say hi to Joy for me will ya? haha

Take care,
