Just a quickie
There's been so much going on drones...and getting near my computer has been more and more of a feat for anything but papers. But midterms are winding down, Empress is in the top 15% of her class, and things are starting to settle into a new pattern without hockey but with plenty of drama. That has been the theme of the past week. Some people have likened me to a Nora Roberts novel if that is enough of a tease! The full story isn't fully realized and am loathe to write anything that may turn out differently later.
Am looking forward to end of season banquet, am planning on wearing the green evening dress and a tie, since Coach forgot he coaches girls now and told us the dress was "shirt and tie". To which we all replied, "O RLY?" and laughed. But am thinking a few other people are also going to wear ties just to make the point...ah, love the teammates!
Empress predicted the winner of Project Runway, the tiny but formidible Chloe Dao! The finale was simply amazing, all three collections were beautiful, and although there were some hiccups and such, was SO much better than the overall quality of the first season. And hope to buy soem McCaroll and Dao for my own closet soon! Am going to miss watching Tim Gunn every week but season three is on the way!
