Damned Assignments
As much as I'm looking forward to this one graphic design project cause it's quite cool, the research is killing me.
What we're designing is a direct mailing ... thing to advertise our design leetness. With my obsession with Japanese and Japanese things, I'm making a portfolio bento box of sorts. I haven't ironed out all of the details yet of it and now exactly it's going to work, but I'm still looking forward to making it.
But as a said, the research is killing me. Looking at all the bento box pictures on Google Images, is making me hungry... and I just finished lunch! Made a friend of mine crave sushi as well, enough to make her go out for sushi tonight with a bunch of our GD crew (I'm invited but I'm already going out for Chinese and I don't have to pay, so that automatically wins).
Next week our final installment of money to go to New York is due. It's another $250. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm so not happy about the amount. I guess it's alright as trip prices go and actually getting a hotel as apposed to the hostel, but still.
It's a good thing that several of our classes are giving us inclass assignments that we don't have to print out and that we hand in digitally. They know we're poor. I love my teachers. They're so caring. XD
I'm looking forward to going to NY. I'm hoping to hook up with RoeBoot, but I have to contact her first before that can happen. I hope she's still in NY and didn't move. :)
