I called a girl in my Ward today to see if she wanted to go on a date some time. We've been friends for a while, and I just thought it would be fun to do something. Now, the response that I got from her was not at all what I expected, but it totally made me laugh and earned a HUGH amount of respect for her. This is how it went

Bluntly honest is a good attribute of a person especially girls, I agree. What is also important is that you or other guys can understand the blunt honesty and react appropriatly. Some guys are told over and over again how it is by the girl, but it simply isn't the answer they want.Therefore they try to coax or minipulate a girl into thinking other wise by putting thoughts into their heads and ironically say that they looking out for the girls well being when actually trying to get what they want...if there isn't a respect and understanding...if "it" just simply doesn't fit. It doesnt mean it is right or wrong just that it doesn't work and you'll break the puzzle pieces or eachothers hearts if you warp and twist and tear at the pieces to make it fit...
