people always feel the need to impress. whether it's appearance, attitude, physical gestures (or implications..), personality, whatever..everyone always seems like they're desperately trying to make people think something they wouldnt if they knew what you were like when you're alone. of course, no one wants anyone to ever view what they're like when they sit at home in baggy pajama pants and a sweatshirt right after they come out of the shower. its kind of pathetic, but its human nature.
it's upsetting how judgemental everyone is of one another. we all have the same shallow intentions: to fake our way through situations in order to get what we want. and by faking our way through things, it doesn't really get us anywhere. if everyone would look past "beauty" and materialized self-image, everyone would get along so much better, myself being included.
the world would be completely syncronized and harmonized if people could see past imperfections and care about people's strengths rather than stress their faults.
