I was wondering... what does it
really mean to be Catholic? What if you believe everything in the
Creed, but disagree with Church on things? Does that make you not
Catholic, or just a bad Catholic? Is the Creed really the only
belief that matters? These thoughts just kinda came along when I
realized that I really don't agree with the Church on a lot of
things. So am I not really a Catholic, even though I believe
everything in the Creed about God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit?
The other thing I was pondering was: what does the Church think about
romance novels? I mean, they're a bit like porn, but not
really. I think that porn is more a blunt lust thing for guys,
whereas girls don't just read romance novels for the smut, but because
they like the plot and enjoy the fluffy bits, too.
Got an idea for a new story/novel
thing. It involves a movie star and a woman (or girl... haven't quite
decided yet) living in a neat old house.
Anyone know what day Spee is coming back?
Urgh. I don't know what to
do about chess camp. I don't really want to go by myself, because
I'll be all awkward and stuff all alone. I don't make friends
very well. I thought Audry or Patrick might be going, but they're
not. Now, Puck, you're my only hope! Oh well... if you
don't go, I won't go. I don't really care either way.
