So occasionally I like to creep around old forums that I've been kicked out of. Just to read the stupid ass comments I see sometimes. Then I stumbled upon a rather scathing review of Demi's song. As much as I like to believe that everyone is entitled to an opinion, there are something that just needs to be stated about this review from one OMGitsJoeJonas. This person is from @adjupdates. So this should give you an idea about the mentality over there.

You know, I'm all for opinion but in all honesty, I really hate it when people just claim “the song sucks” I mean anyone can make a declarative statement and just leave it at that. Watch I can do it to. “Cheetos are good” that's my declarative statement. Is it a fact? No it's not. But then again I guess you'll have that one dip shit wanting to rain on someone's parade. And the video wasn't meant to be flashy or filled with flare or what not. She went for the bleached out look to match the song. She went for substance over style. Which doesn't seem to be your forte, and that's fine. But don't insult something you know nothing of. As far as deserving recognition, well that's your opinion and I will leave it at that. But

The video is of her telling a story. It's not just her standing there. If you listened to the interviews she explains the meaning OF the video. If you're looking for cheap imagery and bells and whistles then go look at some contrived bull shit like Katy Perry's Last Friday Night. This wasn't meant to BE filled with bells and whistles. It was meant to be her telling her story. Nothing more nothing less. As far as no powerful moment is concerned? I guess you weren't listening to the same song I was listening to.

There's a difference between sucking and rasp. Maybe you're use to pointless screeching from hacks like Courtney Fucking Love but this is not meant to be one of those songs. Seriously why do you comment on things you know nothing about? I'm all for different opinions but when you can't back it up, you just sound fucking stupid. Seriously.

Lol I really like how you claim that you're not hating on Demi yet you pretty much insult her artistic intentions and her reason behind her artistic intentions. You not liking it, is one thing. Ok so if you don't want her to sound the same, then what up with this pointless review? Because in all honesty, there wasn't much difference between Here We Go Again, And Don't Forget. The two albums for the most part are pretty linear and similar sounding. And not to bash the video but in aspect, they're kind of similar to “shit scraper” as your dumb ass stated oh so elloquently. So what up with this complaint? It makes no sense. It just seems that you're looking for more flashier videos and what not or more “colorful” videos. Which is fine. But then this video isn't for you. And it doesn't mean it “sucks” it just means it isn't for you. I hate it when people try to pass off their opinions as facts.
