Read this book so we can discuss. And other gems of information.
I read this book about a month ago--got to the end, turned right to the first page and read it again. How many books can you say you have done that with? Uh huh, thought so.
Read it:
It is part Harry Potter (shut up Michelle), Narnia, Oz, and a bit of Catcher in the Rye. It really isn't so much the story as this dude's writing that had me enthralled. He has a huge vocabulary, I even had to look some words up in the dictionary! I can't remember the last time I've done that while reading a book. To describe it too much would be giving some key plot developments away, but let's just say it is exactly what I would picture an above-average American young adult to experience (for the most part)if he finds out that he is *poof* a Magician! Read it.

Obviously the horsey Barbie from her cousin was her favorite, see her Barbie-happy coma face.
And Alex (etc) on his 14th birthday 2 days ago: I CANNOT believe he is 14. Can't.
I like how Camille is eyeballing that cake.
Since this is becoming an update about other things than my latest book obsession, here's some other stuff:
*Abby made our school district's honors orchestra, I am really proud of her for trying out and making it, she was verrrry nervous.
*Baseball season, and all that that entails, starts up very soon.
*We are going on a trip to Utah this Friday for about a week, it's always a mixed blessing to be around family--closely--for that long. :)
*It seems to be raining constantly lately and I LOVE IT.
*Girl Scout cookie season and boothing with Abby is almost over, thank goodness, and I am eating too too many 'Lemon Chalet' cookies. My satchel ass is shaped like a Lemon Chalet.
*Looking forward to a girlz day/night/afternoon with Michelle and Caca when I return from our trip.
*I am devouring reading too too many vampire genre novels right now. J.R. Ward and Laurell K. Hamilton, you are evil and your books are made from crack. It's embarrassing.
*I can't quit Farmville and Restaurant City on Facebook and it is becoming troubling. How do you delete apps on there? Anyone?
