Home from Shaft, Gideon stripped off his damp, sweaty clothes and headed straight for the shower. He wanted nothing more than to wash away the smoke and sweat.
Refreshed, he dried himself, falling into bed naked. Tucking his hands under his chin to sleep, Gideon realized he'd inadvertently washed away Kingsley. Gideon couldn’t taste the sweat any more, he had teased it with flickering tongue as it rolled down Kingsley's back, or feel pulsating stomach muscles beneath his hands as they danced, pressed together.
Gideon tossed in the stillness of his flat, realizing for the first time he was alone.
