I've been the youngest out of most of my friends for so long that I was quite disturbed to find out how old some of the rural fire crew were. The youngest was born in 1985! Weird. I'm still highly amused that I got ID'd at the supermarket the other day. The poor woman was so embarrassed when she saw that I was turning 30 shortly.

Went to the Manakau Medieval Market yesterday (in Levin, it got too big for its old site in Manakau). That's 3 weekends of medieval events in a row. Ugh. Since Pacific Blue has stupidly low prices for airfares to Chch in time for CF, I have abandoned my plan to drive down in favour of a $78 round trip on a plane. Sweeeet.
