I'm still here...
After spending 9 weeks at summer camp, I sort of forgot about LJ. I have decided to start posting again. And now to cover 3 months in 3 paragraphs or less:
Camp was [bad word beginning with F] AMAZING!!!!! You camp people are the best kind of people: truly genuine friends. I couldn't have had a more awesome CIT summer :D . To those of you at home, you rock also, but in a different, usually quirkier way. And for you guys, I'll try to explain camp... First of all, Alonim is a Jewish camp smack dab in the middle of Simi Valley on 3000 or so acres. This makes for an interesting place. We all liked playing Texas Hold 'Em, but hated losing money (sometimes stereotypes are dead on). But I can P'Soy all your tuchases. As a CIT, I worked w/ younger kids, had Jewish education programs of my own, and generally had a great time. Never enough sleep though... I could write on and on about the crazy [bad word for human defecation beginning with S] we did, but you wouldn't understand unless you were there. So, a few inside jokes: Give it to me daddy; give it to me now. Rosh! The Sabras are small and cutsie; the JCITs are old and Israeli. I like it! Show me your butt! Texas's letters. Eugene's overly large target. CITs to the area. No fun at camp. Joey, get the f*** up, it's f****** third session! And so on...
I asked for Theater II. I got AP Stats. Now I have 4 APs and 2 honors classes... I'm screwed for time... I probably should drop something. Oh, and my schedule:
1-Prater, AP Chem
2-Perry, AP English
3-Thomas, AP U.S. History
4-Heller, H Spanish IV
5-Teitell, H Math Analysis
6-Prater, AP Stats
I like all my teachers (for most of the time), but man, do I have a lot of work!
COMEDY SPORTz: To those of you who made the team- CONGRATS!!!! You have no idea how much this year is gonna rock!!! To those who didn't: Please try out next year... there were some really close people, and if you attend open practices (each Saturday, 10-noon), you'll most likely be good enuf to make it next year. And the practices are fun anyways. The Skin of Our Teeth!!! Yea! A well-known play! Thank you D.C. Board and Mr. K! I'm surprised Jellaned OK'd it; it contains the word "raped." Haven't decided who to try out for... No audition partner... Can only audition Wednesday... any ideas anybody? or people who'd like to be my audition partner?
