I finally got my Invisaligns on Thursday... First experience with orthodontia... Got them to correct one sort of major thing (to straighten the molars collapsing around the holes in the back of my mouth where they removed 2 baby molars on either side that never grew in as adult teeth, so they'll be easier to clean/manage) and a couple minor things ( Read more... )

Chicago/Columbia College fucking rocks and when it is not 3 AM and I am not about to pass out (ie tomorrow on the plane) I am going to finish my application so I can transfer for the fall.

I'm so happy. I haven't been excited about school in a long time.

They wound up canceling our first day of classes today because of "icy rain" which, despite being a laughable concept to anyone who lives north of here, I was actually thankful for... I'm definitely ready to get back to classes, but between play rehearsals getting longer and more intense and me not quite being back to my "morning person" schedule ( Read more... )

This semester has been really, really weird. Scholastically I feel pretty good about what I've done. I've been motivated and energetic, which is in part a result of no longer being in close proximity to home and the anxiety it gave me. I started crying, very quietly. In the bathroom staring at myself and I thought about this year and how much I love everyone and the fact that I haven't been this happy since I was young enough not to notice the bad stuff as much.
