The 'how to submit your rough draft' post has just gone up on harrypotterbang. I don't have to submit till the 20th. Oh, thank bananas for that!
I'm on about 5k (turns out the 3k I thought I had was actually 1k). I planned to plough through tomorrow and get the word count to as close to 15k as I thought I could get away with so I wouldn't have to drop out. Then probably rewrite the whole lot (except for the plot, which I am quite fond of)! But now I don't have to! I have time to make it better!
It's very silly H/D flangst. I am rather fond of it. I adopted one of the unclaimed prompts the mods from hd_smoochfest released into the wild after that fest, and it is ridiculous. Ridiculous and adorable and very very silly.
A tiny snippet...
His thoughts kept coming back to one though - that he had to spend the next two months in close proximity to Malfoy. Close proximity to a wet, pretty much naked Malfoy....
And I must must must say thank you to everyone who responded to my post of doom with cookies, advice and cheering. You made me feel so warm and fluffy inside that giving up was never going to happen!
