You know I'd totally wait in line in the rain for a chance to read your novel. In the cold, even.

(And, from other friends' experiences, no one blinks at people posting wee snippets of text, great lines, or bits of scenes. You start posting chapter upon chapter and there might be problems, but tidbits? No worries.)

Or better yet, could we swap? I would totally beta read your MS whenever you're ready for that sort of thing.

Send the MS along whenever you're ready; I'm just finishing a critique for another friend, and will have more time shortly. (While I'm terribly slow, I do read with enthusiasm.) And while I'm still toiling away at my structural edits, I will most definitely be needing beta feedback in the next while.
