Apparently I was particularly full of awesome the other day, because I was owning people right and left. :3
PRIME EXAMPLES:
Mutti: *is being random and making all sorts of weird faces at me*
Me: *long, flat look + deadpans* “…Stop tryin’ t’ look PRETTEH.”
Brother: *decides to be annoying and pokes me in the side…then pokes me again a few times in the same spot* “…Is that BONE?” o_o
Me: “Yes. They’re called ribs.”
Brother: “Ribs aren’t supposed to go down that far!”
Me: “Yes they are, haven’t you ever seen a skeleton?”
Brother: *feeling along his own sides* “Well MINE don’t!”
Me: “...Just because you can’t feel them…” *hop-skips backwards to dodge REVENGE POKES XD*
Brother: *flexing and looking very proud of himself* “I have really strong forearms!” 8DDD
Me: *doesn’t even look up from her book* “Yeah. It’s from all that typin’.”

Mutti: “MMMM! This is REALLY good!”
Me: “…Yeah, right.”
Mutti: “NO REALLY, it’s REALLY good!”
Me: ¬_¬ “…Mutti, I could serve CHARCOAL and you’d still say it was AMAZING because you want me to cook more often.”

In other news, I seem to have caught my dad’s cold somehow, despite the fact that I don’t think we’ve been in the same room together for more than ten minutes for well over a week, thanks to our conflicting work schedules (he leaves for work insanely early, and I often get home from work around 10ish, which is right when he’s heading to bed). So I’m busy drowning myself in tea and orange juice and eating Vitamin C drops like candy, but have a scratchy throat, that stifling tight feeling in my chest, and just. keep. sneezing. I--and my family, too--knew I was sick when I took a nap from 6 to 9 the other day, since I don’t nap ever unless I’m severely jetlagged or am coming down with something. But really…catching a cold in the summer? Majorly lame.
…Still waiting for Tales of Legendia to come…fffff hurry up, Amazonnnnn. DX
Also, I’m in the middle of re-reading Shugo Chara!. It’s cute and I adore the art (and Ikuto ♥…and Amu and Tsukasa and Tadase and Nadeshiko/Nagihiko, and Utau’s character design), so I’m thinking of actually buying it. ♥ Amu’s various expressions are pretty priceless. Plus, I’ve found that it’s absolutely hilarious to re-read it already knowing that Nadeshiko, who is arguably the prettiest girl in the series after Utau…is actually a boy. |D; …And I’m also kinda wanting to cosplay Utau’s first character transform now…though as my sewing skills are right now, I really don’t think I could manage to make that costume…that’s just…a LOT of vinyl. ^^; And Amuto (Ikuto/Amu) is adorable and actually pretty hot though honestly, I could ship her with just about ANY of the boys. |D
I’m also reading ‘Salem’s Lot, and thus far it is REALLY creepy good, but because I’m a wuss, I’ve had to read it during the day just a little at a time since most of my reading time is after 11 at night. ^_____^||||
