So today I went with my bro to Best Buy to check out the laptops, since he's going to be getting one for college/with his graduation money, and while I was there, of COURSE I couldn't resist looking at the anime. And who is now the proud owner of the complete series of Trinity Blood, and the first half of Yu Yu Hakusho? That would be me. :DDD I don't normally cave and impulse-buy things like that, but I have a thing for the slim, nice-and-neat complete series packets of anime, and I've been wanting to see the rest of Trinity Blood for ages. And it was only $36, which I'm sure most of my f-list knows is an EXCELLENT price for a complete series, since a single disc with four episodes can often cost $20-$25 depending on the series and how new it is. ...And is TB really considered shoujo? Mangafox lists it as such, but...lol that's a LOT of blood and fighting and not-really-romance for shoujo. I am unconvinced.
And as for YYH, I know it's really not the BEST anime out there by any stretch of the imagination, but it's nice when you just wanna watch cartoon people beat on each other (which I often do, shounen fangirl that I am :3), PLUS THEY ACTUALLY FINISH A TOURNAMENT HALLELUJAH IT'S A MIRACLE, which in my mind makes it VERY much worth owning. -^____^- ...Now I need to get my mum to go back and buy me the rest. I don't care if I don't get it until Christmas, I still want it. 8|
In other news, I finally had the time/energy to finish off FFXII (ORZ it took longer than it should've since I had books to read and other people hogging the TV and have just been so tired all the time lately and ESPECIALLY because I was trying to do all 500 million side-quests. But last night I just said SCREW IT I AM SICK OF THESE RIDICULOUS QUESTS and fought the final boss, and just. Totally trashed him so, so easily, because I had like...15+ levels on him from doing all those stupid side-quests, ARGH lol.) But yes, YAY, DONE.
