I've gotten all excited about gymnastics again, like I do about every, say, four years. I keep watching this awesome video of Nadia Comaneci's perfect 10 on uneven bars. It's not the first perfect 10, but it was at the same 1976 Montreal Olympics where Nadia got the first 10. I like this routine better. :)
I love the breath-taking-ness. I keep expecting she's going to fall off the bars at any moment. From what I've seen of this year's Olympics, it doesn't seem like the routines have that same style anymore.
Also, question for anyone who knows gymnastics better than me. Why don't they do that move where they hang on to one bar and wrap around the other anymore? Are gymnasts too short now? Or is it not considered very complicated? Just wondering.
