Sarah has Hoshimoto's Disease. Hoshimoto's is an autoimmune condition in which the body attacks the thyroid. This can lead to all sort of troubles, including the extreme fatigue and itching and the elevated liver enzymes that she has been displaying. Treatment is pretty simple and straight forward, as it comes in the form of some pills to be taken daily. I sure hope this is the end of this saga.
On another note, I am planning to fight the City of Hamtramck in court. I was stopped for speeding in Hamtramck a few weeks ago, but I looked into how they set their speed limit and it turns out that it is not in line with state law. So, I'm fighting this one on the grounds that they have an unenforcable speed limit. We'll see how this goes over with them...
