Summertime
Well. Yay summer?
I really haven't been doing very much. I've been lazing about my house doing things like playing on the computer and watching tons of movies. Actually, I haven't even been on the computer that much. It's like I just get so bored with it so fast, and then I go and watch yet another movie. I've watched V for Vendetta, Just Like Heaven, and the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, just to name a few. Today I plan on watching Moulin Rouge and Sweet Home Alabama.
Yeah, so, I need a life.
Tomorrow I will be leaving for Destin, Florida. That should be fun! I'll take lots of pictures and post them on Facebook - just like always. :]
I tried playing the bass clarinet. Besides the fact that I'm still not totally sure if I put it together right, I'm also pretty sure that I can't play anything with the register key yet. That made me pretty mad the first time I tried so I just put it up. Somehow I think I won't be touching it that much more for the rest of summer. It's just making me more bitter that I got switched to something I can now hardly play.. especially since I worked relatively hard this year to get good on the clarinet. Well, so much for that. Ugh. Band is becoming something annoying instead of something I like. I love playing the clarinet, don't get me wrong, but I really don't like where things are headed in band. I'm hoping this year will prove me wrong and that it will be better than I'm thinking it will turn out to be.
Anyways. I quite possibly have a babysitting job! I'm pretty excited. It's for 12 hours on two days and I'll be babysitting two little girls, ages nine and eleven. The lady is supposed to call me back today to tell me if they need me or not. I hope they do! It'll be nice to have some extra money.
I've also been shopping a lot lately. I've already got my Homecoming dress and shoes. (Both of which were only 21 dollars. So, 42 bucks total for Homecoming. Awesome!) I also got a new skirt and a cute shirt to go with it, and then I got an adorable shirt! I also got a cute tank top that I'll be wearing in Florida. It's adorable and so me. And, everything was way cheap. I'm definitely not complaining. c:
I guess I'll update next when I get back from Florida! (Because I honestly doubt anything exciting will happen between now and tomorrow.)
