ok let me get this straight, you wear a hoodie and then wear the headlamp over your hoodie?
the reason i ask is because headlamps are not designed to stay on that way. they are designed to stay on your head or be on a helmet.

Lamp is under the hoodie. Hoodie causes the lamp to creep up the back of my head because all the weight is in the headlamp and batteries. I am hoping the design of the CREE headlamp with batteries in rear and more padding + strap over top of my head will preventr headlamp from riding down my nose.

Got any suggestions for buying battery chargers or rechargable batteries?

slow rechargers although inconvenient often give your battery more recharge cycles. During the summer store your batteries in a cool place like the fridge to enhance their life.
look for batteries that have a large number of recharge cycles instead of the cheapest batteries.

Will do. Tanks for the tips abput slow rechargers and mbatteries with more recharge cycles.

I'll just buy more batteries so I never run out while waiting for batteries to charge back up.
