If it ain't broke, don't fix it
Computer has been running now for close to 12 hours. Windows STILL keeps informing me that the battery charger is plugged in, but not working. Still at 93% charge. I am gonna take Richard's advice and NOT spend time, $$, hassle on fixing it for now.
I'll go see Richard at the internet cafe tomorrow and explain my situation to him to get his opinion. Of course, it the laptop dies overnight, I am back to my original plan.
Semagic and ljArchive are installed, but still need lots of work.
kellcrow7 has partilly saved my ass. When I got this laptop, my external drive would not work, so I gave it to her. She put many many files onto DVDs and gave them to me. I have been picking thru them and installing what I could locate.
I know it is not fair of me, but I blame ALL my computer related problems on the Dell Dork.
