I messaged folks that the biopsy results came back good. No malignancy,
just a mass of fibers. Apparently some nerves got excited and bound
together, forming the lump. This indicates some trauma to the tongue
like a hard bite on it or something - which I have NO memory of doing,
certainly not there.

So the messages start coming back:
My Dad - I always knew you had a lotta nerve!
My Bro - You've got some nerve to tell me that!
J at work - must be from overuse
D at work - Guess you're not tongue-tied any more (stitches are coming
out)

Ha ha ha.
