Oh, how bittersweet! Poor John, to first be thrown into a much harsher universe, and then get back what he needs but remain unable to truly have it. Poor, poor John.

Meeep! I am relieved that John noticed something was wrong, and decided to ask the ancient device about it. The thought of Atlantis without Rodney turns out to be rather frightening.
