Worth a separate post: Eames in Inception was played by Tom Hardy. He also starred in a film called Bronson. I didn't care for the film itself, which is about a violent, charismatic criminal, but Tom Hardy is amazing in it - almost unrecognizable, not least because
Hardy got incredibly ripped for the role of Bronson. Very worth checking out if you like the actor.
Ken Watanabe, who played Saito, was-- 25 years ago!-- in one of my favorite ever films,
Tampopo. That's him on the left next to the ramen master, if you can believe it! So young! That's an incredible movie, I recommend it.
Also, after seeing Inception, we rewatched
Brick. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is so good in that film, and it's a great movie that sets a classic film noir detective plot, characters and dialogue and all, at a modern high school. I love it.
I also admired Gordon-Levitt in The Lookout and Manic. Manic is a tough watch-- it's about troubled teens in a lockup-- but it also has Don Cheadle being typically great.
