Monday Night Tweet-Out!
Okay, folks, here's a chance to show your support for another year (or more) of Almost Human.
Each Monday until further notice, between 8-9 PM ET/PT, tweet #SaveAlmostHuman.
Write to bad robot, JHWyman, MichaelEaly, me, each other, so we can all keep retweeting, write to networks: FOX (encouraging them to reconsider), CBS, ABC, CW, OWN, Showtime, HBO, USA, TNT, CTV and CBC and Global (Canadian networks which have partnered with US networks in the past), WarnerBrosTV to remind them of 6 million loyal viewers and an international audience, that Almost Human has been nominated for several awards of excellence, that it was #2 in critics' list of best new shows of 2013.
Write to NathanFillion, asking him to give a signal boost to his fans (if anyone understands the unfairness of FOX's cancellation of a great syfy show, it's the Captain of the Firefly).
Write to TVLine, BuddyTV and anyone else you can think of. In all your tweets, remember to use the hashtag above because we're trying to get it trending, to garner more attention, to put more pressure on FOX, to let them know they've made a mistake but it's not too late to fix things.
FOXTV has just asked for fan questions and comments @FOXTV #FOXupfront and #FOXfanfront. BE SURE to tweet them this evening using these hashtags and, if possible, #SaveAlmostHuman. Remind them of the six million and growing viewers in US and growing number of international viewers, that Almost Human has been nominated for excellence awards for acting, special effects and production quality, that it was critics' choice for #2 best show in 2013, that it was fans #1 most want to be renewed show, that JHWyman has a five year story plan so the show will have strength for years to come, and ask why with all that did they cancel (may need a lot of separate tweets ie why'd FOX cancel #AlmostHuman when ...).

There will soon be announcements on the Save Almost Human facebook page about a paypal addy, where folks who can afford a few dollars can contribute to advertising to boost awareness and get more people involved. Most of those six million people don't know the show has been cancelled; they just assume it will be back next year. We need to get them engaged.
It's not too late and not hopeless and not impossible, but we need to actively support these initiatives and make our voices count.
(And 'yay me!' for finally figuring out how to upload a Dorian icon created by some generous soul in this fandom months ago. I'm always so grateful to creative folks who share and are willing for others like me to use their work.
