Eps airing out of order

Hi everyone, thought I would share a few links I have found about how Fox are airing the episodes out of order.

I wonder if they will put it on DVD in the "right order"...
It CAN make a difference...

I don't know if you've ever heard about the "Transporter" tv-show with Chris Vance,, but it was COMPLETELY confusing because they didn't show it in the right order either. Then I bought the DVDs and watched it in the right order and it made one hell of a difference and was SO much better. I mean, I had already liked it before. A whole lot, so it wasn't that I had to "force myself" watching, but it was partly really confusing and the relationship between the main character and his girlfriend was going back and forth and then he was having sex with another woman in between whatsoever, and it WAS a bit strange...

So I wonder if that's gonna happen with AH too! I mean I'm quite sure we'll see a difference next week since the episode was supposed to be the 2nd and I'm sure Dorian and John won't be that close... I wonder if that's the reason a lot of people "left" the show already and I've read several times that things are going "back and forth" in that show and that it feels "wrong", so this "mixed order" could and is probably really hurting the show and the ratings!

I was actually just thinking that when the DVD comes out I would give watching them in the right order a go.

I've never heard of that TV show but it really does sound like they messed up hugely by airing it out of order.

I reckon we will see a difference next week and I am hoping that the order changes hasn't jinxed the show's chances for renewal completely.

Some people already DID notice that the episodes are "strange" and I even read on my f-list that the relationship between Valerie and John is going back and forth as well - although it's strange. Someone said, after them talking more and "growing closer" - shouldn't she be more upset that he had a bomb around his neck? But then again, if last episodde should have been 1x10 it doesn't make much sense anyways, because then their "relationship" should have progressed further already... it's definitely confusing...

And it WAS Confusing with the "Transporter" Series. I mean, yes, it was 1 case per episode, but there was a background story going on and that one was completely screwed up because of the airing order...
and then they left out 3 whole episodes anyways. 3 episodes that never aired. I hope, that doesn't happen with AH, and that the strange airing order doesn'T do them any more damage...

I don't get it, though...

I mean, the creators must have thought something by creating the episodes the way they did, and now it's all just confusing...

Agreed. Generally I think it is network execs who mess with the airing order of shows (although I'll admit I don't know that for sure) and I wonder if the creators are just as frustrated as we are.

That would be good although I confess if I saw Karl in person I suspect all I would be able to do is whimper and melt into a puddle of goo.

Yeah, I wish I had known about this convention and Karl coming so "close to me" earlier. I would have done a lot to see him, but since it's already next month it's unfortunately too much of a "short notice" and I can't go... but damn...
I usually am really awful when it comes to my favourite stars as well, but last year at this one convention I kind of was like "fuck it" and went for what I wanted. I never before had asked any of my stars any question at the panels, but this time I just wanted to "risk it" and asked liek 6 questions to one of the stars and 2 to another, so I think I'm kind of "over" that thing and could!
I just wish I could afford to go there :D

Anyways... as for "Transporter": I don't even think the show aired in the US... I watched it in German TV and it was kind of a "co-production" between the Us and Germany, but the ratings were very, very bad - and again, I liked it a lot, good action - but I do think that it had a lot to do with the confusing "background storyline" that was hard to follow!

Now I'm just glad they haven't picked up the whole John has to find his ex storyline, because that would probably have broke the show's neck in the wrong order!
