Where have I been?

Too many things to write about. Never enough time.
Things are good. Real good.

I still work too much, but I don’t mind. I mostly love my job. The massive amounts of travel is starting to wear me down a little, though.

My pomegranate tree was quite generous this year. As was the fuji apple tree.

I went to DC a couple of weeks ago for a visit and a thrift store road trip with Eva and Shana. We covered several east coast states and ended up with loads of fantastic thrift store finds. I went to Philly for the first time and explored Shana’s old hoods in Delaware. It was a pretty fantastic trip.

I’m off to Kauai in a few weeks for American Thanksgiving. I’m a little nervous about leaving my dogs with sitters for so long, but I’m just being neurotic…they’ll be in good hands.

Tuesday is officially unofficially Chris Pureka and Andrea Gibson Day. There are so many reason why I’m excited about this. I’ll tell you all about it later…if I am not left completely speechless (or wordless).

I live INSIDE the house now. Its strange, but very nice. The move inspired me to sort through and dispose of much of my clutter. The WEAVE thrift store has a mighty fine donation of random goods coming.
Those of you that know me well, know that I hide my monters under my bed…all the things I’m not ready to let go of, but can’t handle seeing everyday. I’m pretty proud of myself for sorting through it all and letting go of a lot.
The whole experience was rather healing. This emotional space I’m in is so surreal. I’ve been in a pretty intense therapy program for much of this past year. I recently finished my program and decreased my individual therapy to once a month. This move felt like a perfect ending to a relatively tumultuous chapter. I’m so excited to see where the universe leads me next.

Well, that’s all I have time for. I’ve got a mighty important meeting with my pillow.

Until next time.
Be good.
Loves.
