(no subject)
'tis an entry about Star Trek. I know some of you may be sick of it, so I'm cutting. Also, I'm crazy.
1. I think I'm maybe just contrary. All of my TOS-reading days, I bitched about the lack of Kirk/McCoy or Spock/McCoy because EVERYTHING was Kirk/Spock, and I understood that theirs was an epic love but I just wanted some other stuff too! And now, in the reboot days, when Kirk/McCoy is eeeeeeverywhere and probably the most-written pairing in the parts of fandom I read, I just want some damn Kirk/Spock. WTF is wrong with me?
2. Some offhand comments in Spock/Uhura fic have made me craaaave Kirk/Gaila. Wouldn't it be hilarious and perfect and gorgeous?
3. 89x (local "new rock alternative" radio station) is mostly outside of my current area of interest, but they're having a rock block weekend and they had a block of Brand New and all of a sudden my head is making Kirk fanvids, which is silly because I can't make fanvids, but dammit I want it! (but I might just be crazy.) What can I say, it works for me.
4. Someone make me stop watching the fanvids before I spend my whole life on them.
