so the new year is approaching while the the old one is concluding. It's hard to say that it's ending because it will still be played over and over in our minds, as the other years have. We can either see a year as a disappointment or an accomplishment, it can either be used to criticize or to improve. Usually it will hold all qualities but it depends on what aspects we hold strongest to. I can't hold regrets to this year or any other. Sure some friendships may have dissipated, but some bonds have strengthened in their places. i have anticipation and anxiety to the next year. What's gonna happen, what's gonna change, what's gonna be lost, what's gonna be found? these questions are so obvious to isolate, it's never really possible to answer.
We all burden ourselves with this what she said he said plague. We all seem to want to know more about others when we barely know things about ourselves. There's apparently a race to see who has the most problems, and to not fix them but to only perpetuate these pathetic sympathy wheels.
there's more out there than just our petty problems. Yet i'm curious enough to know what it will bring next year, whether or not it will raise more or less eye brows.
People are hilarious to watch.
Start going to the gym, catch all the concerts i want to see as possible, get more organized, save more money, become more committed, stop procrastinating, finish giving out these christmas presents, save more money...be more generous
I've yet to piece together all my resolutions. I don't really think i'll be done with the list either. and that procrastination and commitment problem definitely will be interfering with those resolutions.
in the present time though, things are going good. I have supportive friends, a great family, and a better GPA than last year for sure.
For those with a crappy year i hope next year will be your clean slate
for those with an amazing year, i hope you can add next year in that golden collection.
