thanksgiving use to be either a hit or a miss. I never really liked turkey. I always figured that it was just and excuse to eat as much as possible.
But now i'm beginning to enjoy it. The older i become, the more i understand what the hell everyone it talking about. And now since most of the kids are now 21 and over it just ends up being hilarious. For instance, the beer pong tournament and my cousins only jeers when drunk are "you're stupid, and you smell. Bleu Cheese!".
My cousins obsession with vinyl continues to rage on. Later in the night my family get into just a crazy debate over the beatles and music in general. I also learned that my grandma was among the few who actually liked Ringo.
The Eat are having a reunion show like next month, so that's gonna be amazing.
so in conclusion i have to say that i'm thankful for my family, sober or drunk.
And tonight's streetlight manifesto, sorry for those who couldn't get tickets.
and then Hot water music's last show, a somewhat family event.
so i'm thankful for music.
and of course there's all that time in between spent wasting time with friends. But i guess it's not wasted if it's for something so meaningful.
