John and I both got exceedingly punchy on the drive home yesterday -- for some reason, I'd be fine for half an hour to an hour, and then suddenly I'd get overwhelming sleepiness. Ideally, you want your pet's food (as your food) to be reasonably nutritious, and low in garbage ingredients that add fat, taste, or bulk without actually adding nutrients. You COULD live, probably, eating only McDonald's at every meal, but I doubt you'd be the healthiest you could be; some people's health would be massively negatively affected. In ( Read more... )
