This is a two part drabble that I had a little fun with. The first one is for Kelsi and the second one is for Ryan.

She wrote it in her journal:
Ryan, I like you.
She told her baby sister:
“I like, Ryan.”
She told her dog:
“I like, Ryan.”
She typed it in chat and email messages, but erased it:
Ryan, I like you.
She always whispered it when she thought of him:
“Ryan, I like you.”
But the words died on her lips whenever he was near. She couldn’t say them, they wouldn’t come out.
It wouldn’t be until after he walked away, she’d finally be able to say:
“Ryan, I like you.”

Whenever she looked up at him over her glasses, he wanted to kiss her. Compared to his drama queen sister, Kelsi was simple and modest, but easily more talented than his sister. He’d had a crush on her since he’d seen her, but because he of his sister, he’d never taken a chance.
Kelsi made his heart race, his palms sweat and his stomach fill with butterflies, but he couldn’t risk it. So the words that he longed to tell her (I love you) went unsaid. It tore him up inside, but it was the way it had to be.
