The movers have been and gone. I have furniture and books and....stuff. I have stuff.
I told the two guys that it would be easy as anything, and they didn't believe me. All they saw was a few hundred boxes. When I told them that any box marked "papers" or "books" menat just that ad that those boxes could stay packed and in the garage they were really happy. When I told them that the 7 foot tall wood cabinet (amoire, shrunk) would also stay in the garage they cheered.
I now get to spend the next few days looking for things, resorting boxes, and just touching stuff. Sooooo nice!
