Between Minecraft and KoL and La Tale I've been (slowly) working on an AtLA rpg. This is the first real non-freeform rpg I've done. Not sure If I want to run it over a forum or LJ or a chat room or what, but I guess it'll depend on what my internet-handicapped player can access.
So the basic idea is this:
It's 2000 years before Aang. The world is less steampunk, more proper ancient asia fantasy. Airbenders are numerous, and dragons haven't been hunted into endangerment yet. Sun Warriors live alongside the newly risen Fire Nation, and the Earth Kingdoms are in constant turmoil with one another.
The current Avatar, has been missing for one year and things have gone to hell since. The Earth Kingdoms, which have always been unstable, have become more aggressive with the absence of the Avatar. The chaos is now spreading to the other nations, the only thing that can stop it is either the Avatar, or the abdication of the main aggressor, King Kyiso.
I'll need three more players(hey mary you know anyone interested?), buuuut I'm not gonna go around recruiting anyone until I finish my shit. Because I have a long as history of not finishing shit and I'd like to let down as few people as possible.
