this is my life. tuesday 10:55pm
i've just gotten home from another amazing night… and i have to acknowledge that i have a lot of those in my life these.
i'd had an entirely uninspiring day of work. which is fine. 'cause that's work and really it's just what pays for the rest of my life*
anyhoo, after work i'd gone to my tuesday pole-dancing class. the tuesday class is an intermediate-advanced class. which is to say it's as about hard-out as any of the class taught, and so i usually feel woefully unskilled compared to the half dozen amazing women who are also in that class. but i keep going 'cause i have a lot to learn… and it helps to keep me humble.
after class i had arranged to get together for pizza and beer with a friend who has been having a bit of a rough time in the last couple of months.
we had a grand time.
and then, knowing that it was Bex's last burlesque class (of this course) and therefore they were going out for drinks, i pinged her and joined them for a while…. until everyone decided that it was time to go home/it's a work-day tomorrow.
yeah, such is my life. kind of rock 'n' roll
and i really like it
p.s. it's a bit late to mention it now but i also got inebriated yesterday (monday). and had a grand time
maybe i should back off tomorrow (wednesday) knowing that i'll have a fare amount of drinking Thursday, Friday and Saturday
*which should probably be the subject of another post at some point
