Like A Weightless Currency, (4/?)

Pairing: Jalex.
Disclaimer: This probably didn't happen.
A/N: I don't think anyone read my last one, but, once again, this counts as school work, and I'm out of coffee.

That night ended up being just a normal night. Partying on the bus with the guys. Alex kind of forgot about the whole episode of the previous night for a while. He didn't over analize it really, for awhile.
Eventually, though, when Vinny and Danny went out for Taco Bell, Evan for Chinese, and Zack went to bed, because he had to rise early for the gym, and things quieted down, he was reminded of it by Jack and Rians grindind to whatever old Mary J Blige song that was on. He didn't really know what to think of it, though. I mean, he liked it. But it was JACK. His best friend, who also doubled as a guy. And Alex was definitely not gay. He'd always seen that as a perk of being semi famous. Girls threw themselves at him. But he still couldn't understand how he liked it that much. He loved it, in fact. And he couldn't help but wish it happened again. But pushed that thought quickly out of his head, as he saw Jack walking down the bus to the back room, handing Alex a bottle of Jager and plopping down next to him, wrapping his right arm around the older boys shoulder.
'Sup bro? Why aren't ya' chillin' with us?' Jack giggled, a bit tipsy.
''Dunno. Not in the mood.' Alex replied, staring off into space.
'Well get into the mood, man!' Jack half-yelled, eyes wide.
'No, Jack, I really don't wanna...' Alex whined, being pulled to his feet by the taller of the two.
He was dragged to the front of the bus, where Flyzik, Rian, Jeff, Colussey and Cassadee, who happened to be doing a concert nearby, were all dancing and laughing.
Cassadee saw Alex and her eyes lit up, and grabbed his hands in hers and starting a fast rocking dance with him, then he spun and dipped her.
'Hey, no fair, back off my man!' Jack laughed, pushing Cassadee out of the way, and grabbing Alexs hands.
'God Cass! Didn't you know they were a thing!?' Flyzik joked.
'What? N-no?' Alex stuttered, looking shocked.
'It was just a joke, bro...' He replied questioningly.
'Dude, what's with you, man? You're actin' real weird today. All durin' sound check you were silent. Whats up?' Jack asked, pulling him aside and sitting them down on the couch.
'Nothin',' he trailed off.
'What is it bro?'
'It's, it's nothin' Jack.'
'Oh, really? Cause it really looks like a whole lotta nothin' to me too.' Jack insisted.
'Fine, it's last night, kid. What was that?' Alex spat out.
'...uh... oh. Yea.... Last night.' Jack mumbled.
'Y-y-y-yea last night!' Alex mocked.
'Hey bro that wasn't just me. You were involved too.' Jack stated, looking slightly angry, and something else.... Was that hurt Alex detected in his eyes?
'Yea, but......' Alex stuttered.
'But what?'  Jack asked, eyes crazed.
'But YOU didn't like it.' Alex stated, anger in his voice.
'Wha-what? You... you liked it?' the dark haired boy answered slowly.
'Well..... well yea. I mean, I g-guess.' He looked away, embarassed.
Jack looked away too, but this time, in the direction of the door.
'Lets go.' he said. It wasn't so much of a question, as a demand, but not a forceful one. It was nearing 2 in the morning, but they needed to talk. And a bus full of their friends, well, that wasn't the ideal place for what they needed. Peace. Privacy. Answers.
Alex nodded, and followed hm out the door. Jack called out something about needing a coffee over his shoulder, and they left. They ended up in the woods a few yards away from the parked bus, sitting on a boulder.

'So.... what now?' Jack asked the older boy.
'Fuck, I don't know. I mean, just cause I liked it doesn't mean there needed to be any 'now's.' Alex suggested.
'Yea, but, I wanted to. I have for a while now, Alex.' Jack said, quietly.
'Wha-what?' he asked, dumbfounded.
'I've wanted to, Alex. I love you.' he said into his knees.
'I love you too, bro. But, I don't know, like, how.' he trailed off. 'How long has this been for?'
'I dunno. Months, I spose. Since MSP, I guess. When you kissed me in CT.' he shrugged.
'uh.... oh.' Alex nodded his head. 'I, well, I mean, I don't know what I mean, actually. I don't fucking know.'
'Yea, me neither....' Jack said, shrugging his shoulders.

A/N p2: Sorry, I know this chapter sucks. I started off with like, a bunch of ideas, but I couldn't tie them together quite yet. Next one will be better, swear!
