I felt Megan kiss the corner of my lips, and I gritted my teeth as I watched Jack walk away with the some kid in one of the other bands.

"Alex, baby," she cooed, giggling as she wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Can you stop?" I questioned, looking for Jack and seeing him sit down with all his bandmates.

"Stop what?" she asked.

"Being all over me," I told her, trying to shift away from her.

"What's wrong? Did I do something wrong?"

"No. I just....I don't like PDA," I lied.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Alex. I didn't realize," she said, letting go of me and sitting up straighter in her seat.

"It's alright," I said, leaning forward and moving my fork around in my food. I was trying to keep my eyes away from their table, knowing it would probably just end up pissing me off.

"Why is Jack sitting with the other band?" Megan asked, and I glanced up at her.

]Because you just had to come visit me when everything started working out for me, you stupid bitch.

"I don't know," I responded, shrugging my shoulders.

"Are they cool?"

"I don't know. I've never hung out with them," I told her, and she nodded.

"Jack, can we talk for a second?" I asked, walking up to him as he got food from the breakfast buffet.

"I don't know. Is your girlfriend gonna be able to breath without being attached to you for five seconds?" he spat, not turning to look at me.

"Baby, please," I pleaded, putting my hand over his, and he looked up at me through slit eyes.

"Don't fucking call me baby, you asshole!" he whisper-yelled. "You've got some kind of nerve even talking to me. What the fuck is she doing here, Alex? Am I not enough? Or am I just another one of your sick fucking games?!"

"Jack, I forgot all about her, I swear. You're the only one I want to be with," I told him, and he glared at me, shaking his head.

"You're so full of shit," he said, turning to stomp away.

"Jack," I started, but he just kept walking. I gritted my teeth, closing my eyes and counting to ten. When I opened them, Megan was in front of me, a concerned look on her face.

"Alex, baby, are you alright?" she asked, and I growled.

"Don't fucking call me baby," I repeated the words Jack had just spoken to me, grabbing a chocolate muffin before walking away from her. I walked up the stairs to mine and Jack's hotel room, aware that Megan was following behind me. I opened the door, half tempted to slam it in her face, but I let her follow me in.

"D-did I do something wrong?" I heard her ask, and I turned around to see that she was quite obviously upset.

"No, Megan. It's not you....I just, I made a big mistake," I told her and her face fell.

"W-what are you talking about, Alex?" she asked.

"I should have told you when you called yesterday, that....that I didn't want you to come out here. But you got off the phone so fast and I really wasn't expecting your call," I told her.

"Why didn't you want me to come out?" she asked, and I bit my lip.

"Because, there's someone else," I told her, and I watched the hurt form in her eyes.

"O-oh," she said softly.

"I'm so sorry, Meg," I told her, and she nodded. "We just, we went into this way too fast. I wasn't thinking straight when I asked you out. My hormones took over. But I guess it wasn't such a good idea, since I really didn't know you, and I would be gone all the time."

"It's okay," she nodded. "I'm sorry, too."

We sat in an awkward silence before she got up, chewing on her lip.

"I guess..I should go before I make anymore of an ass of myself," she said, getting up and I stood up next to her.

"I am really sorry," I told her, and she nodded. I held my arms out, giving her a hug and hearing her sniffle. I heard the door open, and I looked over her shoulder to see Jack walking inside. He gave us a look before walking over to his bed.

"I'll see you around," she said.

"Yeah, bye," I told her and she nodded before leaving. I waited until the door shut before I looked over at Jack, who was shoving stuff in his bag. "What are you doing?"

"Packing my shit back up. Zack said he'd switch with me," he responded, and my heart sank.

"No, Jack. Please don't do that," I said, walking over and trying to pull the bag away from him.

"Why? It'll make it easier for you to sneak out and see her in the middle of the night?" he questioned, jerking away from me.

"That won't be happen-" I started, but he cut me off.

"No, it won't. You won't have to sneak around anymore, Alex. We're done," he said, and I felt a sharp pain in my chest.

"W-what? No, Jack, no!" I grabbed his wrist, but he pulled away. "Jack, please, I love you so much."

"If you loved me, she wouldn't be here," he told me, zipping his bag up.

"But she's-"

"Save it, Alex," he said, putting the bag over his shoulder. "I don't need your excuses."

With that he walked out, leaving me to sink back on the bed, slipping down to the floor. I curled in a ball, wrapping my arms around my chest as if it would keep my heart from shattering into a million pieces.
