Yay, I'm glad Dahlia's toes are feeling better!

I was so happy to see her running around in the snow again happy. She LOVES the snow but she's been so sad with all the salt around. I'm sure it's hard to hurt!

Yep I noticed Dahlia seemed to forget the booties were on once we got outside. She was still walking a little weird inside but once we got into the snow she was just fine. And when we got back inside she actually just walked into the bedroom and curled up. I had to coax her back out to get the booties off! lol

And I wish you had a picture of your great big scary pibble with booties on his feet upside down at Petsmart. God that would be a BRILLIANT photo!

Hmmm.. I may have to try the booties. I've thought about getting them for Marley, because she will take turns on which paws she lifts while going potty.
The way you did it with the treats sounds like a nice way to ease her into it and show her that booties are awesome :-)

I'm pretty sure she still didn't think they were awesome but it helped her to figure out how to walk with them. Once we were outside she probably didn't even realize how awesome they were. She's just been getting so many "sad paws" lately that I've felt awful.

VERY sweet pic! I will have to post one of Tala wearing her santa hat.

Glad the booties are working out!

haha, I had to fit a customer's dog with booties last night..and the pathetic on their back pose with all four paws in the air is a classic. It definitely helps to get the dog moving right away..they walk funny for a few minutes (remember your first pair of high heels?) but once you get them up and running around they adapt. I'm hesitant with booties on all three paws for Maya because a slip could injure her, but a front paw bootie is mandatory for my tri-pawd with all the salt and snow. ps. Dahlia's reindeer ears kill me. xD

LOL I've never worn high heels. Well, I did try them once but hated them so much I never adapted. ;-)

But it does have to be weird for them. Imagine being barefoot your whole life and suddenly having THINGS on your feet. I do think she's a bit happier out there with them. I'm curious to see how she did this afternoon on her walk in the driving snow (my partner is out with her right now).

And the reindeer antlers slayed me too. Best 98 cents I've ever spent!
